\n50 k to lunch – refuel and off to the crater. Interesting country with lamas some sheep and ploughged land. Very dry everywhere. A couple of hills and at least one good downhill. No real wind a big benefit.
\nArrive at camp site mid afternoon after 83k. Dry stone walls provide some wind shelter. A hall has been built and we have dinner inside. The local owner also sep up a stock of beers. Very welcome after a dusty day. Crater huge and good photos at sunrise and sunset.
\nCracked out the harmonica again and a good fun night. Cold again but quite warm in the sleeping bag.
